Dear Goat Families,
Happy Holidays!
Many of our Goat Families have mentioned looking for ideas on how to enhance educational aspect of their goat project - well here is an opportunity.
I am writing now so you have time to think about it plan for a project to participate in for the Communication Day event in Lansing on Saturday, February 14 (registration is due January 21st).
For those of you who have never gone to Communications Day before – it is a one day event where the youth basically competes against themselves (a scorecard is published in the info. booklet). Each person will receive a Gold, Silver, Bronze or participant medal for each event they participate in.
Also - this year the youth have an opportunity to earn $100 - every youth who enters at least 3 events and receives at least 3 silver medals will be entered into the drawing – and they will be giving out 5 of the $100 checks.
For registration contact the Extension Office. I will also post the informational booklet on our website. http://goatdevelopmentalcommittee.blogspot.com/
Thanks,
