IMPORTANT FAIR BOOK CHANGES....

Not all goat fairbook changes got put into the 09 fairbook.
Can you help me by getting this information to all goat leaders ASAP as it is vitally important for declaration forms which are due June 1!!

Thanks for your help.

Julie Blodgett
Goat Superintendent

Correct wording:

14. All goats must have proper ID according to the USDA guidelines for declaration forms and for fair check-in. Tattoos must be readable and ear tags must be in the ear. Microchips are only acceptable per USDA guidelines. Please refer to the USDA guidelines on page 25. Microchipped goats that were shown at the KCYF in the past, may use that form of ID. Any goats that are new to the fair in 2009 need to comply with current guidelines, and should avoid microchipping for ID purposes. TB certificates are not required for check-in unless you have purchased a goat from out of state or from the infected counties on the eastern side of the state.
