Market Goat Fundraiser for the
Kent County Goat Develpmental Committee
At the Kent County Youth Fair
Two families from North Kent Sheep 4-H Club have donated a Boer Market Goat that will be auctioned to benefit the Kent County Goat Developmental Committee (GDC).
It will be sold at the livestock auction at the Kent County Youth Fair on Thursday, August 12, during the small animal portion of the sale, starting at 2:00pm.
Get there early to offer your support by bidding on this animal! It is possible for this goat to be sold several times and all proceeds go directly into the Kent County goat program.
These funds allow the GDC to provide educational opportunities and to improve the goat program . This goat will be shown by an explorer this year, so it will make a great 4-H project for next year. It would also make a tasty market goat if you want to put it in your freezer. Goats also make great pasture buddies for horses! So here is your chance to support the Kent County Goat Developmental Committee by bidding or purchasing this goat!
